Terms of Service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CrosspostAPI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

By creating an account, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Description of Service

CrosspostAPI provides a unified REST API for publishing content to multiple social media platforms, managing connected accounts, and accessing post analytics. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to publish spam, illegal content, or content that violates platform policies
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse the API in ways that degrade service for others

5. API Usage and Limits

Your use of the API is subject to the post limits and features of your selected plan. A single API call that publishes to multiple platforms counts as one post per platform. We monitor API usage for billing and service improvement.

6. Connected Accounts

When you connect social media accounts, you authorize CrosspostAPI to act on your behalf according to the permissions you grant. We securely store encrypted authentication tokens for the platforms you connect.

7. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You will retain access to your plan's features until the end of your current billing period. The Developer plan is free and subject to its stated limits.

8. Intellectual Property

CrosspostAPI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CrosspostAPI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you publish through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CrosspostAPI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to failed posts or platform API changes.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
